Karen Stubblefield is a California girl at heart but currently residing in Rhode Island. She holds a B.A in Art History from the University of California, Irvine and completed the post-baccalaureate program at UMass Dartmouth in Spring 2018. Personal artworks are often influenced by the natural world (thanks to her microbiologist father), the supernatural, and whimsical musings.

Her favorite artists include Arthur Rackham, Mary Blair, Rene Magritte, Edward Hopper, and Eva Hesse.
